Introduction

The Santa Clara Civic and Cultural Centre - Universe of Memories João Carlos Abreu – is the organisation responsible for the conservation, maintenance and public exhibition of all the assets donated to Madeira by Mr. João Carlos Abreu, in 2001, being simultaneously well prepared and capable of welcoming and developing different cultural activities.

Opening hours:
The tours are guided and last approximately half an hour.
Monday to Friday: 10a.m. to 5p.m.
Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays

Admission tickets:
Regular ticket – 3,00 Euros
Pensioners, Youngster Card and Students – 1,50 Euros
Group tickets (maximum: 6 persons per tour) – 1,50 euros
Teachers, ICOM and APOM associates, and children (up to 14 years-old)- Free

How to get to the cultural centre:
The cultural centre is a short walk from the city centre.
